Sony Sparkles

I say...a little bling never hurt anyone. Sony's newest offering to the market for better looking digital frames features: a 7-inch LCD display, one gigabyte of internal storage, USB input, a card slot, utility features, etc. Most importantly, it's an elegant black tastefully embellished with a few fine swirls of Swarovski crystals. Sweet.

About $150 in electronic & department stores.

Glamour Man

Well, since I already mentioned the VF exhibit, and my friend's work at the AGO, it's only right that I now spotlight another phenomenal T.O. exhibit running simultaneously at the AGO... yes, Edward Steichen: In High Fashion, the Conde Nast Years: 1927-1937! Steichen was the original glam photog (love him!) A master of light, shadow and form. This event showcases his fashion and celebrity work, such as this amazing image of Gloria Swanson:

This exhibit runs from September 26, 2009 to January 3, 2010

Vanity Fair

I'm very excited about seeing the Vanity Fair Portraits exhibit at the ROM (Royal Ontario Museum for those not from Toronto). A BFF who works with historical photography collections (among other things) at the AGO invited me awhile ago and I wanted to extend the invitation to all of you! Check out Annie Leibovitz' sultry vision of actress Julianne Moore...

This exhibit runs from September 26, 2009 to January 3, 2010

Aubergine Dreams

Rachel Roy (NYC) "Transfourmer Coat". Doesn't seem all that practical, but who cares? It's stylish...and for those who do aspire to practicality in fashion (?!)...it can be worn as a long coat, short coat or sleeveless vest thanks to a series of well-placed zippers.
